Tree (2016)

Based from a Norse myth where human kind evolved from nature. The tree, built from welded steel and covered in paper and book pages, has plaster casts including the face, feet, hands and fingers,  emerging from it. The tree's centre features a womb like environment with a foetus inside.

This work explores the unknown of our sleeping state. Are our dreams reallly influenced by what we experience when we are awake, or are they controlled by something 'aboove' which wants to imprint on our sub-conscious?

An interactive work, where the audeinc was invited to step inside the wings. Theis piece explores the captivity some humans experience from certain superstions and myths in different cultures.

Refraction explores the distortion of image through glimpses of mirror collaged amoungst seashells.
